The Latino Resource Center, as a unit of the Division of Student Affairs & Enrollment Management, will be taking an active role in our Latino recruitment and retention team. Our team at the Latino Resource Center would like to collaborate with your school/ organization so that together we can offer your students the options and opportunities of accessing higher levels of education.

Our mission is to not only increase the recruitment of Latino students, but to increase the retention and graduation rates by providing cultural, social, and academic programs that enhance the quality of Latino student life at NIU. Visits are conducted between 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. For the fall semester, visits can be scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays. For spring, visits can be scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Visits are not hosted on weekends or during finals week (12/8-13 & 5/2-8).
