Is an organization that helps promote Latino cultural awareness to the NIU community and others. We do this through various activities throughout the school year with speakers, workshops, and programs.

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
The objective of our organization is to increase recruitment and retention of Hispanic engineering students at NIU, promote the advancement of Hispanic engineers and scientists in employment and education, develop and participate in programs for technical degrees, provide a forum for students to exchange information, promote engineering programs for minorities, and represent the Hispanic professional students on campus.

VALE is a coalition of organizations and committees with Latino cultural interests that is designed to develop future leaders, promote unity among Latino organizations, and promote cultural awareness.

Alpha Psi Lambda Fraternity (Co-ed)
The purpose of our group is to serve the university campus and community, advocate for the needs of the Latino community, enhance the educational experience through social and cultural activities, and promote inter-fraternity relations.
The purpose of Sigma Lambda Gamma is to promote standards of excellence in morality, ethics, and education.
The primary mission of Omega Delta is to provide leadership opportunities, cultural diversity, an environment conducive to academic achievement, professional advancement and social growth. All in the hopes of moving young men towards a final change.
Our Chapter is geared toward grooming Brothers with leadership skills, academic excellence, and community involvement. Last year we had members hold elected positions on the Student Association Senate, Supreme Court, Executive Office, and Board of Trustees.
