Third-Year Student Hailey Rehberg Presents on the Affordable Care Act

Hailey RehbergOn March 25, 2015, third-year College of Law student and Health Advocacy Clinic Student Attorney Hailey Rehberg presented at the Kane County Bar Association Eldercare, Disability and Mental Health Committee Meeting.

The presentation, “The ABCs of the ACA: The Effect of the Affordable Care Act on Mental Health Treatment,” examined the history of federal and state mental health parity laws. It also detailed how the Affordable Care Act paved the way for increased mental health treatment and profiled multiple Health Advocacy Clinic clients as examples of those who have benefited from the ACA.
