The NIU College of Law recently held its 2015 2L Mock Trial Competition, which finished up on Thursday, October 29th. The competition was sponsored and coordinated by the Trial Ad Society and was truly a student achievement: 14 teams of second-year students competed, third-year students acted as bench judges and first-year students served on the jury.

The finals, held in the Francis X. Riley Courtroom, saw the team of Chelsea Selvey and Stephanie Wiggins emerge victorious in a tightly-contested final over the team of Candice Patrick and Dayshon Wagner. The Trial Ad Society and their faculty advisor Professor David Taylor express their congratulations to the all of the competitors as well as thanks to all those who helped make the competition happen.
