Biography

Kathleen Coles teaches courses dealing with corporations, securities regulation, non-profit associations, payment systems, and lawyering skills. Before joining the NIU faculty, Professor Coles practiced law for fourteen years in New York, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles, specializing in corporate and securities matters. In addition to teaching at NIU, she has been a visiting professor at University of Missouri-Kansas City and Valparaiso University School of Law.
