NIU College of Law Professor Retires after Twenty-Nine Years

Numerous faculty, alumni, family, and friends gathered at the Chicago Athletic Association for the retirement reception for NIU College of Law Professor Gordon B. Shneider.   The evening was filled with many well wishes and memories of his career, including the announcement of the Gordon B. Shneider Scholarship Fund established in honor of Shneider’s twenty-nine years of service to legal education.   Professor Shneider celebrated with Kane County Public Defender Regina Harris (’89), Chicago Attorney Robert W. Fioretti (’78), College of Law Dean LeRoy Pernell, and Circuit Court Judge Bonnie Wheaton (’78).
