Jessup International Moot Court Team Finishes 6th in Regional Competition

Congratulations to the Jessup International Moot Court Team on their 6th Place finish at the Midwest Regionals competition held from February 20-23, 2014 at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
The Jessup team included Jeremy McCabe (3L), Buri Banerjee (3L), Alyssa Freeman, (2L) Weston Sedgwick (2L) and Morgan Johnson (2L). The Team's brief (called a "Memorial" in International Competitions) was awarded 5th Best Memorial out of the large field, just behind the University of Chicago. Morgan Johnson, in his first year of team competition, was named 5th best oralist out of the more than 90 competitors. The team, which advanced to the quarter-finals among 21 schools, bested Michigan, Valpariso, Indiana-Bloomington and Chicago Kent in direct meetings before falling to Loyola-Chicago.
