  • Marcy L. Buick was appointed associate judge in the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit of Illinois. - September 2011
  • Paul Nicolosi was named a 2016 Leading Lawyer in Closely & Privately Held Business Law; Governmental, Municipal, Lobbying & Administrative Law; Public Finance Law; Real Estate Law; Commercial; and Real Estate Law. He is with Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in Chicago, IL. - April 2016
  • John C. Redington was selected as an associate judge of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit (Lee, Ogle, Carroll, Stephenson, and Jo Daviess counties). Redington, with the Rochelle and Oregon law firm Tess & Redington, is a former Ogle County assistant state’s attorney. - September 2012
  • Hon. Divya K. Sarang was sworn in as a judge for the 16th Judicial Circuit on July 16, 2015. Judge Sarang had been with the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office for over twenty years.
  • Hon. Robbin StuckertHon. Robbin Stuckert has been named the chief judge of the 23rd Judicial Circuit of Illinois, according to the DeKalb Daily Chronicle. Judge Stuckert has served as a circuit court judge in DeKalb County, Illinois since 2003 and as presiding judge in DeKalb County since 2012, when the 23rd Judicial Circuit was formed. She succeeds fellow NIU Law alumnus Hon. Timothy J. McCann ('88). She is the first female chief judge for the 23rd Judicial Circuit. - December 2015
