Emily O'Connor
About Emily: I am the third child of four: I have two sisters and one brother. We are a close family, even though we are not all together that much. I enjoy spending my free time with my family and my friends, going to see movies or cooking together. I enjoy reading a lot. I love to travel, and I have had many great experiences living in other parts of the country and the world.
Previous Legal and/or Professional Experience: I was an intern last summer for a law firm in St. Louis. I also went to France with the study abroad program. I worked very closely with two attorneys at the law firm on worker’s compensation cases. I also was given many opportunities through the law firm to go to court and experience many different areas of law.
What activities are you involved in on campus? I am the 2L representative for the Student Bar Association. I am a Kaplan Representative, and I am a representative for Walters Kloger. I am also a member of Delta Theta Phi, the Women’s Law Caucus, and the Latino/a Law Students Association.
