Amanda Lueth
About Amanda: I absolutely love reality television. I watch almost everything from Jersey Shore to The Real Housewives on Bravo. I attended Illinois Valley Community College before NIU.
Previous Legal and/or Professional Experience: Previously, I worked as a clerk in the LaSalle County Clerk’s Office. I focused mainly on family law, divorce filings, and orders of protection. In addition, I worked as a secretary at an attorney’s office that dealt with bank transactions and real estate.
What activities are you involved in? I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. In undergrad, we did a lot of campus clean-up and campus beautification. I also volunteer at a homeless shelter. In addition, because my grandfather died of a brain tumor, my family now maintains a team to raise money for research for the American Brain Tumors Association.
Why did you choose NIU Law? I went to NIU for undergrad and loved it. The affordability and the practical skills training available were added bonuses that solidified my decision.
