Veterans' Scholarships
There are several programs available for veterans, their dependents, and National Guard members. The federal government, through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, awards monthly stipends while a veteran is attending school, based on attendance level. The State of Illinois has several tuition waiver programs, some offered through the Illinois Student Assistance Commission.
