Our Clients and Cases

The goal of the Civil Justice Clinic is to provide holistic services to the clinic’s clients. The Civil Justice Clinic prioritizes the needs of low-income senior citizens and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

The Civil Justice Clinic represents seniors age 60 or above in the following:

  • Elder Abuse cases; 
  • Drafting estate planning documents such as Wills and Powers of Attorney; 
  • Probate estate cases; 
  • Guardianship matters; 
  • Small claims cases; 
  • Public benefits and disability cases; and 
  • Other general civil matters.

The Civil Justice Clinic represents survivors of abuse seeking:

  • Domestic Violence Orders of Protection; 
  • Civil No Contact Orders; 
  • Stalking No Contact Orders; 
  • Crime Victims’ Compensation; 
  • Related housing, employment, and public benefit matters; 
  • Related family matters; and 
  • Other general civil matters.
