The legal system of the European Union overlays the domestic legal systems of France and other European Union member states. This course examines the development of the legal and institutional structure of the European Union. In addition, this course considers the relationship of the law of the European Union to the domestic law of the member states and examines selected substantive doctrines of European Union Law. This course is offered only in the Northern Illinois University College of Law Summer Session at the University of Bordeaux Center for Judicial Studies, Agen, France.
