Stephen Omolecki joined the Office of the State Appellate Defender, Third Judicial District, in August 1979. His current position is supervisor. He was admitted to practice in Illinois and in Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in November 1979. Omolecki has represented clients in all five Appellate Court Districts, the Illinois Supreme Court, Federal District Court, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. He has taught part-time at Northern Illinois University College of Law since 1985.
