Operator Assistance Number ("Zero Escape") Mailbox Option
The Operator Assistance number, commonly known as the "Zero Escape," permits callers to speak to a live operator by pressing the 0 key while listening to your greeting or at the end of the greeting. Set your own 0 escape number:
- Call 815-753-7300 and log in.
- Press 80.
- Press 1 to set the Operator Assistance prompt.
- Enter the 7-digit number where you want your callers to be sent, then #.
You will hear an announcement repeating the number you just entered. Don't forget to tell your callers they can press "0" at any time during your greeting.
