ABR CONSIDERATIONS
Users should be aware that ALL disk data sets are backed up to tape on a regular basis (Monday-Saturday during SMT starting at 2 A.M.). The backup tapes are kept for up to 21 days in the NIU tape library. It is not necessary for the users to perform their own disk-to-tape backups since it is possible to restore any disk data set from the daily tape backups with the following exceptions (obtained from production job ABRBACK):

- VOLG=TMP
- DSN=SYS3.CICS.**
