ITS COMPUTER LAB CHANGES

Lab Closings

Holmes Student Center lab HC 117 is closed and will reopen in Fall 2013. Use HC 023 lab in the sub-basement.
The copy machine/Anywhere Printer outside HC 117 has been removed. Use the one outside HC 023.

Stevens Annex SB 121 and 122 are closed. Classes will be moved to Cole, Graham, Reavis and Wirtz.

Wirtz 332 is being converted to a classroom lab.

Printers Decommissioned/Removed from Labs

Lab printers will be decommissioned and/or removed from the ITS computer labs. 

Students - Use the Anywhere Printers near each computer lab. The Summer 2013 free printing quota is 300 sides. See Anywhere Printer locations. Use your OneCard to release your print job.

Faculty/Staff - Use your department's Courtesy card

If you are not enrolled you need Huskie Bucks or a Courtesy Card to print.

Summer 2013 Printing Quota:
300 sides of paper. 

Anywhere Printing: print from any device with an Internet connection to an Anywhere Printer location.

Better Service at Lower Rates

As of July 1, the cost of network connections and virtual servers will go down even as these services are enhanced.

Network connection upgrades will be done in phases over the next year.

planned maintenance

Planned Maintenance

ITS has established a system maintenance window from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Sundays. System availability should not be impacted during the maintenance window unless noted below.

On Monday, 7/8/13, between 11:AM and 4:PM, ITS will perform maintenance to the MyOneCard system. Card balance, transaction history and reporting a card as lost/found will be unavailable for the duration of the maintenance.
On Friday, 6/28/13, between 7:AM and 11:AM, Blackboard Transact (OneCard) will be unavailable. OneCard readers will operate in offline mode. On-campus readers that are set to accept offline transactions will do so. Off-campus readers will not accept transactions during the maintenance period.
