Membership List

The membership list will display the list members address and options in alpha order by address. The only option that a list administrator would normally wish to set is the mod bit. When the mod bit is checked, that member is considered moderated by the list. This means the member's postings are moderated based on the settings in the Privacy Options.

The unsub bit can be checked and submitted to remove a member from the list.

Mass Subscription and Mass Removal

Make mass subscriptions or unsubscriptions by entering e-mail addresses (one per line) or by uploading a text file with a list of addresses (one per line). The mass subscription function has been tested in our environment with more than 27,000 addresses.  A list of subscriptions and errors will be displayed once the mass subscription or unsubscription request has been processed. There may be a delay if you are submitting a large file for processing. Please be patient and do not click on the submit button more than once.

When using the mass subscription option you can choose to either subscribe or invite members to the list. Additionally, you can decide to send notification messages to the subscriber and list owner.  The default settings for the notifications are set up in the General Options section.

Default Moderation

When subscribing new members using the mass subscription option, the default moderation bit will be set based on the list's default settings configured in the Privacy Options.
