Administrator Options: Archiving Options

You can archive all posts to your mailing lists. These archives can be made public or private, and new volumes can be started at a specified interval. It is recommended that the list welcome note or information page indicate if a list is being publicly archived.

Archives that are made public are available to anyone on the Internet. Your name and e-mail address are displayed on the archive postings to the webpage. These pages can be searched and indexed by Internet search engines. Messages posted to the archives can not be retracted or altered by the poster or list administrator.
