Figure 1: The CanIt-Pro Simplified Interface

The CanIt-Pro simplified interface is displayed by default the first time you log in to CanIt-Pro. This interface allows you to select a standard spam scanning level. See Spam Scanning Options and How to Change Your Spam Scanning Levels Using the Simplified Interface. To view the advanced interface, click on the "Permit lists, Block lists, etc." button.

The CanIt-Pro advanced interface allows you to do the following:

Select a spam scanning level for your account. See Spam Scanning Options and How to Change Your Spam Scanning Levels Using the Advanced Interface.
Select a spam scanning level for a GroupWise resource that you are the "owner" of. Rights to modify the spam scanning settings for a GroupWise resource can be assigned to anyone with a valid NIU Network AccountID at the resource owner's request. See Spam Scanning Options and How to Change Your Spam Scanning Levels Using the Advanced Interface.
Create and maintain a personal block list to always reject e-mail from specific senders, domains, or mail relays. See Personal Block List.
Create and maintain a personal permit list to always accept e-mail from specific senders, domains, or mail relays. See Personal Permit List.
Create and maintain various customized rules for the scoring and handling of suspected spam.
Enable and use the CanIt-Pro Spam Trap. See CanIt-Pro Advanced Controls with Spam Trap.
