Q: What if the Wireless Networks tab does not show in the wireless adapter properties?
A: Remove wireless configuration utilities made by Dell, HP, Intel, Linksys, or Netgear. Go to the Control Panel, select Add or Remove programs, and click Remove on these programs.
Q: What if everything in the Wireless Networks tab is grayed out?
A: This is also most likely due to other wireless configuration utilities. See "What if the Wireless Networks tab does not show in the wireless adapter properties?"
Q: What if the wireless configuration utilities can't be removed?
A: Bring your device to the ITS Contact Center in TS 114. Support specialists will try to remove it.
Q: What if everything is still grayed out in the Wireless Networks tab?
A: Make sure the checkbox for "Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings" is checked.
Q: What operating systems can connect to WPA?
A: Any operating system and hardware that supports WPA. See NIU Wi-Fi Requirements.
Q: Why is WPA not available as a Network Authentication type?
A: The wireless card is not WPA certified. See WPA Certified Wireless Cards.
