NIU Wi-Fi

This is the only wireless site available until a connection to NIU Wi-Fi has been established.
To set up a connection to NIUWireless choose the appropriate protocol configuration below.

  • NIU WPA - for a device purchased before 2007.
  • NIU WPA2 - for most devices purchased after March 2006. WPA2-enabled devices have a "Wi-Fi certification" sticker.

As of August 8, 2011 NIU Wireless requires a new security certificate

You may need to manually download the new NIU Wireless Security Certificate.
You may need to enable the security certificate if it downloaded automatically. 
 - Enable the NIU security certificate on Windows 7 and Vista
 - Enable the NIU security certificate on Windows XP

Need help? Bring your device to the ITS Contact Center, TS 114, at the south end of the Public Safety and Health Services building. Look for the burgundy awning.

Off-Campus Secure Access

SSL AnyConnect is a secure connection when an NIU IP address is needed.
