Enable the NIU Wireless security certificate on XP
- Select "Start" and then "Control Panel."

- On the Control Panel menu, select "Network Connections."

- Click on "Wireless Network Connections" and select "Properties."

- Under the "Wireless Networks" tab, in the "Preferred Networks" section, select "NIUwireless."
Click on "Properties."

- Under the "Authentication" tab, select "Protected EAP (PEAP)" from the "EAP type" dropdown menu, then click "Properties."

- Under "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" check ALL instances of "VeriSign Trust Network," "VeriSign Class 3 Public" and "VeriSign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority" and click "OK." Close all windows.

- Click on the information balloon and it will open a window to enter your credentials. Enter your NIU AccountID/Z-ID and password. Leave "Logon domain" blank.

- After entering in your credentials click "OK." The computer should connect to NIUwireless.
