Enable the NIU security certificate on Windows 7 and Vista

  1. Right-click the wireless icon, and select "Network and Sharing Center."

  2. Select "Manage wireless networks" in the left column.

  3. Right-click "NIUwireless profile".
    Select "Properties" from the list.

  4. Cick on the "Security" tab.
    Click on the "Settings" button.

  5. In the section "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" check all "VeriSign Trust Network" boxes and check "VeriSign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority-G5."

  6. Click "OK" to close this window, and again for the next window. Close the "Manage wireless connections" window.
  7. Right-click the wireless icon near the clock in the lower right corner.

  8. Select "NIUwireless" and click "Connect."

  9. Enter your NIU AccountID/Z-ID and password for Network Authentication.

  10. You should connect to NIUwireless.
