Your AccountID/Z-ID and Password

You need your AccountID/Z-ID and password to access computing and communications resources like:

• Blackboard
• MyNIU
• software applications on file servers
• ITS and ResTech computer labs
• student e-mail
• faculty/staff e-mail
• your network storage space (H: drive)
• network printers
• dial-in service
• wireless connection on the DeKalb campus
• secure connection to NIU network from anywhere

Go to the Directory.
The AccountID/Z-ID is the first part of the NIU email address.
