In August 2009 NIU welcomed a delegation from Hacettepe University, a top state university in Turkey. Our guests were Professor Dr. Selcuk Gecim, Vice President; Professor Dr. Hasan Kazdagli, Vice President; and Professor Dr. Mehmet Baha Karan, Economics. They held meetings with the College of Business, the College of Engineering & Engineering Technology, The College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, the School of Theatre & Dance, the School of Music, the College of Visual & Performing Arts, and e-Learning Outreach. Delegation members were also guests of honor at a luncheon hosted by the Division of International Programs and the Office of the Provost, at which fully-signed copies of the first-level cooperative agreement between the two institutions were exchanged.
