For the third year NIU has hosted EducationUSA Advisors. This year visitors came from India, Colombia, Russia, and Kazakhstan. They toured NIU, met with international students, and learned what it was like to live in DeKalb.
EducationUSA sites are government funded advising centers located in other countries, geared to help international students find a US university to further their education. http://educationusa.state.gov/about.htm
