Econ Illinois - Illinois Council on Economic Education offers multiple programs and workshops for Illinois teachers to integrate the teaching of economics and personal finance across the curriculum in grades K-12. Additional programs are offered directly to students to further assist in preparing them for effective participation in our economy.
Professional development workshops and courses, curriculum consulting, The Stock Market Game™, Economics Challenge, Economics Poster Contest, and Illinois Personal Finance Challenge are just a few of the Council’s offerings. Econ Illinois also offers the 3M Economic Educator Awards program to recognize best practices and excellence in teaching economics.
