Professional Development - Workshops

The Stock Market Game™

On-site teacher training workshops for first-time or "novice" SMG teachers include interactive curriculum lessons, stock market basics, handouts and hands-on computer lab sessions. Teachers learn how to access the SMG's Teacher Support Center of online curricula, lesson planning, tutorials and assessments; how to access and manipulate the student-based portfolio simulation. Teachers who are highly interested in using the SMG but not certain about enrolling, are also welcome to attend a workshop for informational purposes.

All participants at SMG workshops receive resource materials. Teachers remaining to the end of the workshop will receive CPDU's. Select one workshop.

If a workshop is not offered in your area, contact SMG staff Marty Paul or Beth Metzler by e-mail or toll free phone, 877- I DO ECON.
