Jump$tart National Educator Conference
The first Jump$tart National Educator Conference will be held November 6-8, 2009 at the Capital Hilton in Washington DC. This conference devoted to personal finance education is open to all kindergarten through grade 12 classroom teachers.
Conference highlights include:
- Tools, resources, information and support for teaching personal finance in the classroom.
- Reception at the Federal Reserve Board.
- Keynote address by FDIC Chair Sheila Bair.
- Lunch with Janet Bodnar, author of Raising Money Smart Kids.
- Listening Session with Washington DC policy leaders.
- Welcome to Washington, special event dinner.
- More than 40 Exhibitors of Financial Education Resources.
- Teachers will receive 10 CEU credits for attending the conference.
The teacher registration fee is $175. This fee includes two nights hotel accommodations, all conference meals, and materials. (Teachers provide their own transportation.)
