The Illinois Council on Economic Education would like to thank HSBC for support of the 2008 Economics Concepts Poster Contest.  Funding will provide full support for contest administration, materials, awards and the 2009 Economics Poster Calendar, the culmination of the year-long competition.

The Economics Concepts Poster Contest is used by teachers of grades 1-8 to stimulate students' interest in the fundamentals of our economic system. The program helps students learn about the economy and have fun doing it. The program gives students an opportunity to creatively demonstrate their understanding of the economy.
