From The President
Welcome Back to School! The first days of cool autumn weather, with crisp breezes, bright sunshine, and the beautiful colors of fall, always bring a feeling of excitement and anticipation - school is starting! Both as a child/student and as a former teacher, I loved this time of the year, and even now, I still have that sense of anticipation as the new school year gets underway. The new year offers a fresh start, new students with unknown potential, opportunities to try new lessons and activities, and the knowledge that YOU will make a difference in the lives of these young people. You can really make a difference by including economic and financial literacy lessons in your curriculum throughout the year. ICEE materials help students apply the reading, writing and math skills they are learning to their everyday lives, helping them develop those critical life-skills needed in the real world. And while they are learning these important concepts and skills, they will have fun! Our materials are engaging and interactive, reaching students at all levels of learning. Our professional development programs help you feel comfortable in implementing these materials in your classroom. We hope you had a terrific summer of relaxation and renewal.
