IGEFHS Update

We are pleased to announce that a limited number of mini-grants will be available this year for schools that have been part of the Illinois Global Economics & Finance (IGEF) program. These grants (generally around $500) may be used to further enhance the economics and finance curriculum in the school and/or to expand implementation of the International Economic Summit curriculum and simulation in the school. A few grants may also be available for new schools interested in becoming part of IGEFHS and/or implementing the International Economic Summit program. Watch for details of the grant program, which will be sent out soon.

With IGEFHS Director Terry Borg leaving the ICEE staff, schools should now contact Nancy Hanlon Harrison (Sr. VP/Asst. Director of ICEE) for all inquiries related to the IGEFHS program and the International Economic Summit.
