Nancy Hanlon Harrison

Nancy has been actively involved in economic and entrepreneurship education since her teaching career began.  She has 14 years of classroom teaching experience and currently designs and teaches summer institute programs in economics and financial literacy education at the senior high school level. 

Nancy is the recipient of numerous teaching awards including the Illinois Awards for Excellence and Innovation in the Teaching of Economics, and she has been involved in the establishment of both state and national standards for economics. 

As Senior Vice President/Assistant Director, Nancy is responsible for the overall management of programming of the Council, including support for the Centers, oversight of grants, and delivery of programs and teacher training.
