Mail is delivered Monday through Saturday (except holidays) while classes are in session. Mail is typically out in individual resident mailboxes by mid-afternoon. We only accept mail and packages addressed to students who are contracted as residents of the hall.
For best service please have mail sent to:

When you leave NIU, your mail is automatically forwarded to the permanent address on file unless you leave another specific address with the hall staff when you check-out.

The main desk will put a notice in your room mailbox to alert you if you receive items for which you need to sign. You will need to have your NIU OneCard or other picture ID when you sign for and pick up special deliveries. These include:
Main desk staff may accept a maximum of 25 pieces of mail personally delivered to the main desk as long as they meet all other mail requirements and includes a complete return address.
