Single Rooms
During the academic year, many single rooms will be available for currently enrolled students. True single rooms are available in Stevenson Towers, Grant C Tower, and the New Residence Hall (opening Fall 2012). The addition of the New Residence Hall adds 1,000 single rooms to our available housing.
How and When Do I Sign Up?
You may choose a single during room selection, determined by your lottery number. If a single is not available at that time, you may contact your area Chief Clerk to be put on the wait list for a single should one become available. During the summer you may email us at housingdining@niu.edu from your NIU Z ID account to request to be put on the wait list for Fall semester.
