I am currently a University Honors Fellow at NIU, and my main responsibility is Honorable Mentions and the Peer Mentor Program. I am also involved in Research as a University Honors Scholar; I am a Northern Lights Ambassador; I am Co-President for the Student Alumni Association; I also work at the Scholarship Office on campus. I really enjoy keeping myself busy, but when I don't have a long to-do list, I love to read, craft, and try new recipes. I will be graduating in May of 2014, and I am currently applying to graduate school to get my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy Degree. My ideal graduate school would be Colorado State University or Towson University in Maryland. I hope to initially focus my research and clinical practice on children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and then to expand my skill set internationally to assist people with disabilities.
