The History/Social Science Teacher Certification Program will prepare an individual to serve as a secondary social sciences educator (grades 6-12) in the state of Illinois. Admission to, and retention within, the program constitutes the program's acknowledgment of the candidate's potential as a successful, exemplary teacher of the highest quality.
