The ExxonMobil Bernard Harris Engineering Summer Camp provides students in sixth, seventh and eighth grade with projects and experiments to foster math, science, engineering and technology skills.
The two-week, residential camp offers daily classes intended to strengthen campers' math and science skills and stimulate interest in a careers in science and engineering. University faculty and certified classroom teachers will provide instruction.
This year's camp will take place from June 13-25, 2010. Campers' housing will be in the NIU residence halls.
Application deadline is April 9, 2010, and selection will be made by May 4, 2010. Application status will be sent via e-mail or regular by no later than May 11, 2010.
