Green Family Fun at Haish Gym (9-12p)
***Due to flooding in Lions Park, the Green Family Fun event will be moved to Haish Gym (303 South 9th Street in DeKalb) ***  

Join us for a variety of outdoor activities geared toward getting kids into nature. All activities run throughout the day. Stop by anytime and participate in as many things as you want.

Farmers Market at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of DeKalb (9:30-3p)

     Located at 158 North Fourth Street, DeKalb

    - $1 admission
    - A seed and plant exchange organized by DeKalb County Community Gardens  
    - Chair massages
    - Farm fresh eggs, grass fed beef, pork, and poultry from Hassellman Farms
    - Hand crafts and original art work by local artists      
    - Home spun wool  
    - Live music provided by local musicians 
    - Local vegetables from Montabono Farms of Sandwich

  • Kishwaukee College Continuin Education, Student Government Association and Biology Department have teamed-up to offer the community an early opportunity to celebrate Earth Day on Thursday, April 18. Kishwaukee College will offer free screenings of YERT: Your Environmental Raod Trip and Green Fire.
