Q: Where does the festival take place?

A: The festival will be held at Northern Illinois University and downtown in DeKalb, Illinois.

Q: How should I submit my film?

A: We recommend that you submit your film through Withoutabox.

Q: Do you allow international submissions?

A: Yes, we accept international submission. Our 2013 Documentary winner was from Norway. The best way to submit your film and pay for the fee is through Withoutabox.

Q: Do you consider experimental films?

A: Yes! Green Lens welcomes unconventional and artistic takes on our theme "Our Planet in Focus." Our screeners will review your experimental film and group it with the most appropriate judging category.

Q: What are the requirements for student films?

A: If you are paying the discounted student entry fee rate, please send a scan of your student I.D. to including the title of your film, name of the director, and Withoutabox tracking number in the body of the email. Please visit Withoutabox for more information.
