At Northern Illinois University, several types of financial assistance are available to qualified graduate students. Degree-seeking graduate students who are U.S. citizens may be eligible for Federal Direct Loans, private loans, and Federal Direct Plus Loans for Graduate and Professional Students. Our Office of the Bursar processes student payments and refunds as well as offers payment plans and advice regarding your financial situation with NIU.
