Course Description

Introduction to the principles of acquiring and interpreting data from remote sensing systems, focusing primarily on the use of aerial photography and satellite imagery to study the environment. Physical processes involved in remote sensing including electromagnetic radiation and its interaction with atmosphere and land surface; common remote sensing systems; basic principles of photogrammetry.
