Candice Patrick

Professional Background

Candice is a Northern Illinois University alumnus and a rising second year law student at Northern Illinois University College of Law. Within the College of Law, Candice is involved in Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity, and the Black Law Student Association where she works actively to keep the organizations thriving. In her second semester of law school, Candice achieved becoming a semifinalist in the “1L Closing Argument Competition.” Outside of law school, Candice has clerked for the Markham Courthouse Assistant State’s Attorney’s office as well as its Assistant Public Defender’s Office. In addition to clerking at Markham Courthouse, Candice was a law clerk in the Post Convictions department for the Cook County Public Defender’s Office.
