Professional Background

Sri is a third year law student at NIU. Sri is active in several student organizations, including Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity as the former Treasurer, The Latino Law Student Association, The Black Law Student Association as the former Treasurer, and the current Secretary of The American Constitution Society. She was also a participant in the law school’s Mock Trial Competition and Moot Court Competition. Sri’s prior work experience includes serving as a Graduate Assistant for the Center for Governmental Studies, working as a 711-student attorney at the NIU Health Advocacy Legal Clinic, and working as a law clerk for The 17th Judicial Circuit Domestic Violence Coordinated Courts, under the supervision of The honorable Judge Rosemary Collins and Jessica Maveus, J.D.
