MM, Computer Music and New Media Technology, Northern Illinois University (2010)
BA, Music Technology, Mahidol University (Thailand)

Prior to coming to the US, I studied the Khim (Thai dulcimer), classical guitar and music composition in Thailand. Back when I was around 13, I heard a solo classical guitar piece called “Recuerdos de la Alhambra” composed by Francisco Tárrega. I thought it was played by two guitars! After I discovered that it is a solo piece, I began taking a serious lesson in classical guitar. And as a music major at the undergraduate level, my major instrument was the classical guitar.

However, I don't play any traditional instruments anymore. My works involve human interface device and gestural control of interactive electronic art. I completed a Master's degree in Computer Music and New Media Technology at NIU in 2010. Currently, I am completing a Master's degree in Time Arts at the School of Art, NIU. The Time Arts program at Northern Illinois University consists of course work within the areas of animation, video art, and interactive art. Thus, if you have any question regarding to sound and video editing, you can come to talk with me. I am happy to assist you and answer questions about the Learning Center’s resources.

My Current Hobbies

When I am free from making music and visual arts, computer programming and doing academic works, I go outside for long distance cycling (sometimes on ice and snow), and research the hidden history of modern/contemporary art (something that some art professors will not tell you).
