The name is Lucas...Jordon Lucas. If reality were the way I would like it to be you would have just heard the name James Bond right about there, but I’ll leave that to your imagination. Back to me though. I’m a Junior here at NIU Majoring in Computer Science and Minoring in Spanish. So, of course I work at the Foreign Language Learning Center. It’s the best of both worlds for me: ideal, my own little paradise of tech, media and literature.
My birth certificate says I was brought into this world on December 25, 1991...Christmas Day. Some say, “Oh, you’re so lucky!” while others say, “How unfortunate.” I, on the other hand, say “No big deal.” It is nice being one of Santa’s special helpers. I was brought up on the South Side of Chicago near Midway Airport. Loud, giant, speedy aircraft flying 30 feet overhead is a norm for me. I graduated from St. Ignatius College Prep where I was introduced to music. Music is my love, my expression, my weapon and my therapist. You get the picture, right? I love computers, yes, I am a nerd, and I love Spanish. For Spanish, I grew up around it. All of my closest friends are, or have been, Hispanic. I do believe in my past life; I was also....no joke.
I’ve always been described as social and diverse. I would like to think so. One thing about me is I feel you can never have too many hobbies. For me it’s a long list! I dabble in everything from drawing to juggling. I am always adding equipment to my Bat Belt. All in all, I am an easy-going guy who loves to enjoy life! You will always see me smiling, and if not I'm probably attempting to hold it back.
That’s all for now! ¡Hasta Luego! .......and, yes, my name is Jord“O”n ...not Jord“A”n!
