Advising

banner-advising

All students interested in majoring/minoring or studying a world language should meet with an academic advisor in the department at least once per semester to plan your class schedule and monitor your progress toward graduation.

Incoming freshmen who have previously studied the target language are expected to take a placement exam in the target language. Visit NIU Testing Services to learn more about the testing procedure and upcoming test dates.
