- The specialization in marriage and family therapy in the Master of Science program in applied family and child studies is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy.
- The dietetic internship, taken in conjunction with the M.S. degree in nutrition and dietetics, is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation/Approval for Dietetics Education.
- The undergraduate emphasis in Nutrition and Dietetics is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation/Approval for Dietetics Education.
Certification
Certification as a Family Life Educator through the National Council on Family Relations is an option that is available to family and child studies (undergraduate) majors.
