- Ask students to take 2 minutes to write down their expectations in this course (what they hope to learn for their profession or personal growth)
- Distribute syllabus
- Divide students to form small groups (3 to 5)
- Each group selects someone who will report their discussion items
- Ask group to review the syllabus and make a list of:
- questions and/or concerns
- what they like and dislike in the syllabus
- Address the issues raised
- Give your reasoning
- State benefits for doing it (issue)
- Seriously consider changes that better meets students' needs

- Were they resolved with explanation
- Does it require restructuring course outline?
- Did you have realistic expectations on the quantity of work to be completed?
- Did you make minute adjustments during any week? (Record the change)
